Tire Rotation

Tire Rotation is the process of changing your wheels and tires into another position so all 4 tires are evenly worn out. The rotation of the tires themselves need to be done every 5,000 to 7,000 miles or depending on the information from your driving manual of your vehicle. Your front tires are more susceptible for a tire rotation due to the front tires control the braking of the vehicle. Make sure to check tire pressure in order to ensure your tires are not experiencing any drop in pressure and they are being worn evenly.

Tire Rotation Patterns

A traditional tire rotation would be front to back and back to front to provide even wear to the tires. Depending on if your vehicle is Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) or Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) you're using it may throw off a traditional tire rotation pattern. Tire rotation patterns also might be disrupted if your vehicle has a spare tire involved. Here at Barrett’s Tire we aim to supply our customers with premier tire rotations in Greenwood, SC.
